About us
Klong is a music and sound studio in London, formed by Tim Clay and James Rapson in 2018.
We have created original music and sound design for brands including Nike, adidas, Asics, BMW, Kia, Sonos and Aston Martin, for media companies including BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Netflix and Tortoise Media, and for people including Turner Prize winner Mark Leckey, Norwegian pop sensation Aurora, award winning performer Xnthony, and fashion designer Simone Rocha. These sounds have been created for advertising, film, installation, theatre, podcast and runway.
Alongside our work as Klong we have various personal projects: releasing music that has gained airplay on BBC Radio 1 and 6 Music, scoring artworks and films that have been shown at Festival de Cannes, Tate Britain, Tate Modern, Barbican Centre, BFI London Film Festival, Somerset House, Sitges Film Festival, Berlin Film Festival and many others. We also hold a monthly show on NTS Radio.
